Medical resident James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) who transfers to a rural hospital for a fresh start after a traumatic breakdown. Haunted by his past, James becomes obsessed with young asthma patient Helen (Sidney Flanigan), whose mysterious symptoms defy diagnosis. As strange visions and unsettling hospital scenes blur reality and paranoia, James struggles with his deteriorating mental state, testing the limits of medicine and bedside manner.
