After a bomb explosion critically injures Officer Knight and his dog Greg, surgeons save them by combining Greg's head with Knight's body, creating Dog Man, a half-dog, half-human hero. As Dog Man strives to impress his Chief and protect the city, he faces challenges from Petey the Cat, a feline supervillain with a penchant for cloning.
