In 1970s Rio de Janeiro, young capoeiristas Veneno da Madrugada and Noivo da Vida train under Mestre Vendaval, who teaches them discipline, rhythm, and the ancestral roots of capoeira. Their brotherly bond deepens as they rise through the roda together, dreaming of a future built on strength and loyalty. But during a police raid, tragedy strikes, leaving Mestre Vendaval dead and the boys scarred with guilt.
